Recessed Floor Sockets

FloorPower’s Recessed Floor Sockets are designed for interiors where floor level sockets are required to provide practical access to power, data, media etc while complementing / matching the other socket and switch fittings within the room, even becoming a feature of the design with the different finishes. Their flat design means the floor sockets work with stone, tile, wood plus carpet unlike the concealed flush range, and when in use do not stick up above the floor level as a trip hazard or noticeable interruption to the floor as standard floor sockets do.

Key benefits

  • Available in a choice of eight metal plate finishes
  • Six standard socket insert types.
  • Flexible socket specification options available.
  • Choose from single, double and triple sockets.

Flexible specification options

The Recessed Floor Socket range can be individually configured for a variety of residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors. They offer practical safe access to power, lighting, media, phone and data connections unobtrusively.

Recessed Floor Socket Projects

FloorPower’s Recessed Floor Sockets have been used in a number of projects including stately homes, modern offices, gyms, contemporary and traditional homes, and hotels, all where discretion of supply is more important than plugs on walls. Many people walk straight past the floor sockets without realising they are there. As the sockets are recessed they are also perfect for putting under furniture e.g. a sofa, discretely supplying power to where it is needed.

Shown here are some of the places our sockets have been installed. Not only power but also data (through RJ45 sockets), media through aerial and satellite sockets, and USB ports for powering sensors and other devices.

The different finishes available in the recessed floor socket range are shown below.
